About the New Forest, Hampshire
The New Forest, located in the heart of Hampshire, England, is a stunning national park renowned for its natural beauty, rich history, and diverse wildlife. Horse riding is popular in the area and we can arrange riding excursions for beginners as well as experienced riders, these need to be booked ahead, so please try and arrange with us prior to arriving. We recommend Coombe Stables, which are just around the corner from us.
Cycling is a great way for everyone to enjoy the Forest. We can arrange bikes to be dropped off at the hotel for you during your stay, based on some terms and conditions.

Bolderwood Arboretum & Deer Sanctuary | 10.8 miles: Ideal for spotting wild deer from a dedicated viewing platform.

Lyndhurst Parish Walks: Starting from the “capital” of the New Forest, these trails blend woodland, heathland, and charming village scenery.

Brockenhurst | 3.1 miles: A tranquil village where ponies and donkeys roam freely, it’s an excellent base for exploring.
Beaulieu | 9.5 miles: Famous for the Beaulieu Abbey and the National Motor Museum, which showcases over 280 vehicles.
